Boutique Related
Is your Boutique open to non-Jewish folks?
Yes, the Boutique is open to Jewish and non-Jewish folks alike.
We offer products and services that are of interest to both Jewish and non-Jewish folks.
We do ask that you please be mindful in regard to the Judaica we carry in our Boutique, as these are items that are of cultural significance to the Jewish people.
What is Judaica?
Judaica items include the Magen David, Menorah, Mezuzah, Shofar, Shabbat Ritual Items, and more!
These items are: (a) held as sacred and are used for specific rituals within Judaism and Jewish culture, or (b) used by the Jewish people for other significant cultural reasons.
Is the Hamsa / Nazar considered Judaica?
Yes, in that they are part of Jewish culture. However, the Hamsa and Nazar are part of many cultures around the world.
That said, you are, of course, more than welcome to purchase any of our Hamsa / Nazar items (just please be mindful if the piece that is of interest to you incorporates other Jewish symbolism).
What makes you Jewish femme-owned business?
Tora, the Owner, was born to Jewish parents and, as such, was raised Jewish.
That said, while Tora is a Left-Hand Path Practitioner, they are still very much connected to their Jewish heritage and culture.
Tora still holds many of the Jewish values they were raised with and is an active member in their local Jewish community. Tora is a member of their shul's sisterhood and choir.
Additionally, Tora is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Tora's gender identity is "outside" of societal norms. Tora is demi-femme and therefore, transgender. Tora identifies as non-binary.
Tora's pronouns are she/her and they/them.
That, in a nutshell, is why we proudly refer to our Boutique as a Jewish femme-owned business.
Why are you closed on Jewish Holidays / Days of Observance and not other Holidays?
We are closed on days that are of cultural significance to the Jewish people and to Tora as an individual.

Order Processing and Shipping
What is the processing time for orders?
Processing times vary.
Orders submitted will be marked as received for processing during our routine business hours.
Orders submitted after the close of business will be marked as received for processing the following business day.
We do our best to process and ship orders within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days of order placement.
Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days for order processing.
Please note that the processing time for larger orders may be longer than fourteen (14) business days.
What is the processing time for curated items?
Processing times for curated items vary.
The processing time for curated items, at a minimum, is three (3) weeks, but may be up to four (4) weeks.
Please allow up to four (4) weeks for processing.
What is the processing time for handmade items?
Processing times for handmade items vary.
The processing time for handmade items, at a minimum, is three (3) weeks, but may be up to six (6) weeks.
Please allow up to six (6) weeks for processing.
What are your shipping details?
We strive to process and ship orders within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days of order placement. Our primary method of shipping is USPS Priority Mail.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we do!
We offer international shipping to a number of countries!
Do you have a shipping schedule for orders?
Yes, we do.
Once an order has been processed, it is then prepared for shipping.
We have a weekly shipping schedule to ensure orders are processed and shipped timely.
What is your shipping schedule?
Orders are typically shipped on Wednesdays, as per our weekly shipping schedule.
Please note that, in the event of a business closure or holiday, orders may be shipped before or after the scheduled day to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
What is the shipping time for orders?
Shipping times vary, as they depend on the shipping method selected at checkout.
For example, if you selected USPS' Priority Mail service with delivery to be expected within two (2) business days, your order will be shipped via USPS' Priority Mail service, with two (2) day shipping, once it has been processed.
Please note that orders placed by Clients outside of the United States may be delayed due to transit and customs processing. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of a delivery date estimate prior to shipping.
Please allow an additional seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days for international orders.
